Ribfest Langley is a FREE family-oriented event sponsored by Langley’s four credit unions and hosted by the four Rotary Clubs in Langley.
Net proceeds from Ribfest will go to support Rotary Community projects in Langley.
By being there, you and your family will experience a fun day of delicious food and great entertainment while supporting the wellbeing of your Langley community.
Where is the Ribfest site?
McLeod Park – Langley BC
What about Parking for cars and bikes?
Access to parking is via 56th Avenue. Follow the signs and parking attendants’ directions.
Designated Parking Needs – people with special parking passes should access McLeod Athletic Park via 216th
Bikes – there is a designated area to lock up your bike.
What are the hours of operation?
Friday, August 16th – 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Saturday, August 17th – 11:00 am – 9:00 pm
Sunday, August 18th – 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
What is the cost of admission?
Admission is FREE! Kid Zone activities are FREE! Entertainment is FREE!
Are children permitted?
ABSOLUTELY…this is a family event!All minor s must be accompanied by an adult.
Things to Know Before You Go
Please do not bring pets. For health and safety reasons pets are not permitted, however, on-duty service dogs are welcome.
Please do not bring alcohol. Alcohol is for sale and can only be consumed within the Beverage Gardens. Food coolers may be inspected upon entry. FYI, it is possible to order your BBQ from the Beverage Garden.
Yes! There is a Family-Friendly Beverage Area! To enter the family area, adults must be accompanied with someone under the age of 19.
Payment Methods. Please bring cash. Beverage Gardens will accept credit cards, however Ribbers will only accept cash if you are buying BBQ directly from them. There will be (5) ATM machines on site.
Pork Ribs aren't your thing? No problem! Our BBQ vendors will also serve beef ribs, chicken, coleslaw and baked beans! Plus, many other vendors will be there to help satisfy any craving, including: Starbucks Coffee (by donation), fried potatoes, deep fried onions, mini donuts, lemonade, ice cream, roasted corn, pop, Hard Bite chips and Krause Berry Pies - yum!
Gluten free BBQ! Prairie Smoke & Spice, Misty Mountain BBQ, Smoke & Bones and Gator BBQ will all be serving gluten free Ribs and Sauce. Sorry, BBQ from BOSS HOG'S is NOT gluten free.
No Smoking on Site. Smoking, including e-cigarettes, at McLeod Park will only be permitted within designated areas within the Beverage Gardens. General Area smoking will be outside the event gates. By law, smoking is prohibited by anyone under the age of 19.
What bands are playing?
Free entertainment will be on the Mainstage from 12 noon onward. Check out our event lineup page for full details.
Where can I sit and eat my BBQ ribs? Tables and chairs will be provided throughout the site, and will also be located within the two beverage areas on a first come first served basis. Enjoy your BBQ with a cold beverage under the shade tent. Or feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets and set up your own picnic on the grassy area.
Should I bring a shade Umbrella? Shade areas will be set up in the event grounds and within the two beverage areas.
Change your baby in privacy. We've got momma's and pappa's covered. A private tent near guest services is set aside as a baby change area.
Get a safe ride home if you need it. Safe ride Between 8:30PM and 10:00 PM. Please talk to a server or security officer.
Getting to the event via Transit. Nearest transit stop is at 5300 block 216th St. Then only a 3 minute walk south.
